A curated poster initiative.
We are extending the submission deadline to May 14.
This open call invites artists across the GCC to respond to the present moment through the format of the poster — as a form of documentation.
Not only of events, but of personal responses: reflection, resilience, solidarity, uncertainty, and everything in between.
Selected works will be part of a curated exhibition at The Sima Collective, Dubai.
This project is supported by the UAE Ministry of Culture and is guided by a curatorial panel including representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Dubai Culture, alongside invited independent curators.

Open to artists, designers, and multidisciplinary practitioners across the GCC.
All visual approaches are welcome.

The Sima Collective is an artist-run space in Dubai dedicated to supporting creative practices through a shared studio environment and a programme of residencies, exhibitions and public moments. Rooted in a collective approach, it brings together artists working across disciplines and stages of their careers, creating space for exchange, experimentation and the development of new work.
Operating outside a purely commercial model, The Sima Collective focuses on process, collaboration and community, positioning itself as a platform for ongoing research and production rather than only presentation.
